Disks dumped with Imagedisk 1.18 on a PC witch 1.2mb HD Floppy Disk Drive
The MS-DOS System Disk was made for use in a single floppy disk drive system. If your T300 is a dual drive system, you should change the configuration parameter containded in the System Disk.
Insert the MS-DOS System Disk into the drive A and confirm that the prompt A> is displayed on the screen.
Type
edlin config.sys
and press [ENTER]
The following message will appear on the screen:
End of input file
*_
Type as follows:
1,2L
The screen will display the contentes of CONFIG.SYS
*1,2L
1:*fdd5=1
2: lpt1=3
*_
This parameter values are for one floppy disk drive and P1350 printer configuration.
If your T300 system has two disk drives you must change the parameter values.
Type 1 and press [ENTER]. The following will be displayed:
1:*fdd5=1
1:*_
Press PF2 and then 1. This is to tell the system to copy the line «fdd5=1» until the character 1 appears.
The screen will chage to:
1:*fdd5=1
1:*fdd5=_
Press 2 and then [ENTER]. The screen will change to:
1:*fdd5=1
1:*fdd5=2
Press E and then [ENTER]. This will end the EDLIN program and the contents of CONFIG.SYS will be changed (if the system disk is write-protected remove it before you proceed with this steps).
Hold CTRL and ALT and DEL. This will reload the MS-DOS system and the system will operate for two disk drives.
